DMB

Twenty-four years ago, or thereabouts, I heard this song for the first time in my then high school sweethearts Jeep Wrangler over looking a twinkled eastern suburb of the San Fran Bay Area from an autumn hillside draped in the wealth of youthful innocence. A lifetime stretched in the starred sky above us. I was hooked to DMB and his melodies of quirky American modern storytelling on transplanted dream-rhythms knocking on wood and strung steel.
